Abstract A number of new inhibitors of gibberellin (GA) biosynthesis in Gibberella fujikuroi are reported, including secondary, tertiary and quaternary amines. Octyltrimethylammonium iodide and 3-chloropropyltrimethylammonium iodide were equally as effective as 2-chloroethyltrimethylammonium chloride (CCC).
