To provide a herbicidal composition which can be applied at a low dose as compared with individual application, and thus is effective to reduce the environmental load on a place where the composition is applied or a periphery thereof, of which the herbicidal spectrum is enlarged, and of which the herbicidal effects last over a long period of time.
A herbicidal composition which comprises as active ingredients (a) a herbicidal benzoylpyrazole compound represented by the formula (I) or its salt:

is alkyl, cycloalkyl or the like, R

is alkyl, haloalkyl or the like, R

is haloalkyl, halogen or the like, and (b) other herbicidal compound.
