  The invention relates to fungicidal compositions comprising an acceptable carrier and/or surface active agent and synergistically effective amounts of (a) at least one azolopyrimidine of formula I 1 in which R 1 through R 2 , L, A and n have the meaning given in claim 1; (b) and at least one melanin biosynthesis inhibitor (MBI), preferably a phenoxyamide of formula II 2 wherein R 5 through R 9 , Y and m have the meaning given in claim 2; and to a method of controlling the growth of phythopathogenic fungi at a locus which comprises applying synergistically effective amounts of at least one azolopyrimidine of formula I (a) and at least one MBI (b) to the locus.
