  (EN) The invention relates to novel 1,2,4-triazole derivatives of formulae (Ia) and (Ib), wherein R1 and R2, which are the same or different, stand for hydrogen; C1-4 alkyl or C1-4 alkenyl group; or a phenyl group optionally substituted by C1-4 alkyl or alkoxy group; and n is 0, 1 or 2, and acid-addition salts of these compounds. The invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing these compounds as well as a process for the preparation of the compounds of formulae (Ia) and (Ib). The compounds of formulae (Ia) and (Ib) inhibit gastric-acid secretion and exert a significant protective effect on the gastric mucosa (cytoprotective action). Thus, they can be used for inhibiting and treating ulcers of the digestive system.(FR) Nouveaux dérivés 1,2,4-triazoliques répondant aux formules (Ia) et (Ib), dans lesquelles R1 et R2, identiques ou différents, représentent hydrogène; un groupe alcényle C1-4 ou alkyle C1-4; ou un groupe phényle éventuellement substitué par un groupe alcoxy ou alkyle C1-4; et n vaut 0, 1 ou 2; et sels d'addition d'acide de ces composés. On a également prévu des compositions pharmaceutiques renfermant ces composés ainsi qu'un procédé de préparation des composés répondant aux formules (Ia) et (Ib). Les composés répondant aux formules (Ia) et (Ib) inhibent la sécrétion de l'cide gastrique et présentent un effet sensible de protection des membranes muqueuses gastriques (action cytoprotectrice). Par conséquent, ils sont utilisables dans l'inhibition et le traitement des ulcères de l'appareil disgestif.
