identified a piperidine-spirooxadiazole derivative T761–0184 that acts as a α7 antagonist. A series of novel piperidine-spirooxadiazole derivatives were subsequently synthesized and evaluated using two-electrode voltage clamp (TEVC) assay in Xenopus oocytes.
