  Arylseleno cyclopropanes are prepared from alpha-chloroalkyl selenides and alkenes under P.T.C. and sonochemical conditions. 1,1-Dichloro-1-alkylselenides produce the corresponding 1-chloro-1-selenocyclopropanes.
