    The present invention provides a metalporphyrin complex having structure represented by formula (I), wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , R 4 , R 5 , R 6 , R 7 , R 8 , R 9 and R 10 are independently selected from one of hydrogen, halogen, aliphatic group, substituted heteroaliphatic group, aryl and substituted heteroaryl; n is 1-6; L is quaternary ammonium functional group or quaternary phosphonium functional group; M is a metal element; and X is one of halogen, —NO 3 , BF 4 —, —CN, p-methyl benzoate, o-nitrophenol oxygen anion, 2,4-dinitrophenol oxygen anion, 2,4,6-trinitrophenol oxygen anion, 3,5-dichlorophenol oxygen anion and pentafluorophenol oxygen anion. The metalporphyrin complex provided in the present invention has two quaternary ammonium functional groups or two quaternary phosphonium functional groups, and compared with the prior art, the metalporphyrin complex shows higher catalytic activity in catalyzing polymerization reaction of carbon dioxide and an epoxide.

    A novel 3‐dimensional potassium supermolecular compound [K(HDNR)(H2DNR)(H2O)]n (H2DNR2,4‐dinitro resorcinol) was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and FT‐IR spectroscopy. The crystal structure investigated by X‐ray single crystal diffraction shows that [K(HDNR)(H2DNR)(H2O)]n crystallizes with a monoclinic unit cell in the space group P2(1)/c with unit cell dimensions of a=17.648(5)

    A method of nitrating resorcinol which is selective for the production of the 4,6-dinitro resorcinal isomer. A resorcinol-based starting material is admixed with a nitrating solution from which substantially all nitrogen dioxide and nitrous has been removed. The nitrating solution contains white fuming nitric acid, a nitrosonium ion control agent such as urea, and, optionally, concentrated sulfuric acid. The 4,6-dinitroresorcinal isomer is provided in yields of about 65-85% with minimal production of undesirable side products.

    There is disclosed a process for the delignification of lignocellulosic material by treatment with an alkaline liquor in the presence of a cyclic keto compound such as anthraquinone. The lignocellulosic material in subdivided form is first impregnated with the alkaline liquor containing a suitable amount of the cyclic keto compound whereafter any excess liquor is drained. The impregnated material is then cooked by heating. The delignified products are suitable for the manufacture of paper.
