    Reaction of SbPh(2)Cl(3) (1 mol) with the silver salt of dicyclohexylphosphinic acid (2 mol) afforded {SbPh(2)Cl[O2P(C6H11)(2)]}O-2 1, a similar reaction with AgO2P(C8H15)(2) gave a product formulated as {SbPh(2)Cl[O2P(C8H15)(2)]}O-2 2. Similar reactions with silver carboxylates (1:3 stoichiometry) led to the crystalline derivatives [SbPh(2)(O(2)CR)(2)]O-2 (R = Ph 3, CHPh(2) 4, 2,4,6-Me(3)C(6)H(2) 5, 2-MeC(6)H(4) 6 or 4-MeC(6)H(4) 7), whereas the 1:2 reaction afforded crystalline SbPh(2)Cl(O(2)CR)(2) (R = Ph 8, 2-MeC(6)H(4) 9 or 4-MeC(6)H(4) 10). Interconversion of the previously known compounds [SbPh(2)(O(2)CMe)(2)]O and Sb(4)Ph(8)O(6) . 3MeCO(2)H was achieved and established by H-1 NMR spectroscopy. Compounds 1 and 3 were further characterized by X-ray diffraction; the antimony in 1 is six-co-ordinated with bridging phosphinates whereas in 3 it is seven-co-ordinated with chelating benzoates. Short Sb-O (oxo) distances (1.923 Angstrom) and near linearity at the bridging oxygen (Sb-O-Sb 173.9 degrees) are observed for 3.

    Silver carboxylates [Ag(O2CR): R = Me, Bu-t, 2,4,6-Me3C6H2], fluorocarboxlyates [Ag(O2CRf): R-f = C3F7, C6F13, C7F15] and their phosphine adducts [Ag(O2CR).nPR(3)': R = Me, Bu-t, 2,4,6-Me3C6H2, R' = Me, Ph, n = 2; R = Me, R' = Me, n = 3; Ag(O2CRf).2PPh(3), R-f = C3F7, C6F13, C7F15] have been synthesised, characterised spectroscopically and used as precursors in the aerosol-assisted chemical vapour deposition of silver films. All the phosphine adducts produced films, though in general PMe3 adducts, proved more successful than PPh3 analogues. The fluoro-carboxylates and their PPh3 adducts all generated silver film, though the growth rate for the adducts was lower. All these latter films showed carbon impurities while fluorine was also evident in most cases. The X-ray structure of AgO2CC3F7.2PPh(3) is also reported. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.     The present invention relates to cephem-derivatives and to a process for their preparation, having proper substituents at C-2 position, i.e. heterocyclylthio or acyloxy group. They are potent protease inhibitors, in particular human leucocyte elastase (HLE) inhibitors. These inhibitors can be synthesised by way of a substitution reaction starting from known cephem compounds having a 2-position a suitable leaving group.

    (EN) Compounds of formulae I: (DIP)IrXqYr(Z), Ia: (DIP)IrXsYt(Z)2 and Ib: (DIP)Ir(Z)3 or mixtures of at least two of those compounds, wherein DIP is a ditertiary diphosphine, the two phosphine groups of which are bonded to a C2-, C3- or C4-carbon chain, with the result that the diphosphine forms a 5- to 7-membered ring together with the Ir atom, X is Cl, Br or I, Y is a hydrogen atom, q and r are 0, 1 or 2 and the sum of q+r is 2, s and t are 0 or 1 and the sum of s+t is 1, and Z is the anion of an organic oxy acid that contains a group C(=O)O, S(=O)O or P(=O)O in the anion. The compounds are excellent catalysts for the hydrogenation of imines, especially for the enantioselective hydrogenation of prochiral imines.(FR) L'invention porte sur les composés de formules (I): (DIP)IrXqYr(Z), (Ia): (DIP)IrXsYt(Z)2 et (Ib): (DIP)Ir(Z)3 ou des mélanges d'au moins deux d'entre eux. Dans ces formules: DIP est une diphosphine ditertiaire dont deux des groupes phosphine sont liés à une chaîne carbonée C2, C3 ou C4 d'où résulte que la diphosphine constitue, avec l'atome d'Ir, un cycle à 5 à 7 éléments, X est Cl, Br ou I, Y est H, q et r sont 0, 1 ou 2 et la somme de q + r est 2, s et t sont 0 ou 1 et la somme de s+t est 1, et Z est l'anion d'un oxyacide, ledit anion comportant un groupe C(=O),S(=O)O ou P(=O)O.
