  (EN) Novel S-benzyl thiolcarbamates, having the formula$(8,) which R1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and methoxy, R2 is selected from the group consisting of methyl, ethyl, and allyl, and R3 is selected from the group consisting of straight-chain C3-C6 alkyl optionally substituted with one or two methyl groups, and allyl. The compounds are particularly effective in the control of weeds associated with rice crops. (FR) Nouveaux S-benzyl thiolcarbamates ayant la formule suivante: $(8,)$dans laquelle R1 est choisi parmi le groupe constitué d'hydrogène et de méthoxy, R2 est choisi parmi le groupe constitué de méthyle, éthyle et allyle, et R3 est choisi parmi le groupe constitué d'un alkyle de C3 à C6 à chaîne droite éventuellement substitué avec un ou deux groupes méthyle, et allyle. Les composés sont particulièrement efficaces pour le contrôle des mauvaises herbes associées aux plantations de riz.
