A facile multicomponent synthesis of desirable medicinal scaffolds based on thiazoline, thiazolidinone and thiazolidinol derivatives has been disclosed. The synthesis employs the reaction of a primary amine and carbon disulphide in a microwave, to generate a symmetrical thiourea in situ.
