A simple and efficient synthetic protocol has been developed for the synthesis of 3-substituted-2H-1,4-benzothiazines by using bioglycerol-based sulfonic acid-functionalized carbon catalyst, devoid of corrosive acidic and basic reagents. The developed method has the advantages of good to excellent yields, short reaction times, operational simplicity, and a recyclable catalyst.

Abstract Kaolin–OSO3H efficiently catalyzes the condensation of 2-aminobenzenethiol or benzene-1,2-diamine and 2-bromo-1-aryl-ethanones to yield quinoxaline and benzothiazine derivatives in good yields. The sulfuricacid modified nano kaolin was synthesized with a simple and low-cost method. 摘要 Kaolin-OSO 3 H 可有效催化 2-氨基苯硫醇或苯-1,2-二胺和 2-溴-1-芳基-乙酮缩合,以良好的收率生成喹喔啉和苯并噻嗪衍生物。硫酸改性纳米高岭土的合成方法简单、成本低。本方法还具有产率好至极好、反应时间短、操作简单、催化剂天然绿色等优点。
