    Stable and substantially filled cationic dental compositions are described which include: (1) at least one cationically reactive compound (A); (2) at least one dental filler (B); (3) optionally, at least one dispersant (C) composed of at least one organic polymer or copolymer; (4) at least one cationic photoinitiator (D); and (5) optionally, at least one photosensitizer (E). The dental filler (B) is treated with at least one organosilicon coupling agent (F), and at least one compound (G). The organosilicon coupling agent (F) has at least one reactive function (rfA) directly linked to a silicon atom forming after activation of a chemical bond with the dental filler, and at least one reactive function (rfB) not directly linked to a silicon atom, forming after activation, a chemical bond with a reactive function (rfC) of the compound (G).

The liquid organopolysiloxane of the present invention has excellent emulsion characteristics, imparts excellent tactile sensation, and, in particular, when compounded in an external use preparation or a cosmetic composition containing water and oil, takes advantage of the effects of water to suppress oiliness and provide a smooth, thick feeling when applied, a natural feeling to the skin with good compatibility with the skin, excellent moisturizing effects, and an excellent sensation during use without any oily stickiness.

    An ultraviolet-curable silicone composition for a release paper including (A) 100 parts by mass of a specific organopolysiloxane having a polymerization degree of 8 to 20 and containing one epoxy group, and (C) an effective quantity of an onium salt photoinitiator. In a preferred embodiment, the composition further includes (B) 10 to 1,000 parts by mass of at least one specific organopolysiloxane containing a plurality of epoxy groups. In another preferred embodiment, the composition has a viscosity of not more than 100 mPa·s. The composition has a peel strength that exhibits a positive dependency on the peel speed when peeled from a hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive, and can therefore be used to produce a release paper capable of reducing peeling noise. Further, because the composition has a low viscosity, it exhibits excellent wetting of substrates having significant unevenness, even in a solventless form.

    The present invention relates to a production method for a liquid high-purity organosilicon compound, the method comprising the steps of: adding, to a mixture containing an organosilicon compound selected from a group consisting of organomodified silcones and organomodified silanes and impurities, an organic wax having affinity with the impurities and having a higher melting point than the organosilicon compound, melting and mixing while heating, and introducing the impurities into the melted organic wax; obtaining a solidified product of the organic wax by cooling the organic wax; and performing solid/liquid phase separation on the organosilicon compound and the solidified product of the organic wax. With the present invention, it is possible to provide a useful method for producing a high-purity organosilicon compound stably and on a commercial scale.

    The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for a liquid high-purity glycerin derivative-modified silicone, the method comprising: a step of adding, to a mixture containing a glycerin derivative-modified silicone and impurities, an organic wax having affinity with the impurities and having a higher melting point than the glycerin derivative-modified silicone, melting and mixing while heating, and introducing the impurities into the melted organic wax; a step of obtaining a solidified product of the organic wax by cooling the organic wax; and a step of performing solid-liquid phase separation on the glycerin derivative-modified silicone and the solidified product of the organic wax. With the present invention, it is possible to provide a useful method for stably producing a high-purity glycerin derivative-modified silicone on a commercial scale.
