tetraamines derived from 1,8-diaminooctane was prepared and tested as antitumor agents. The reaction of 1,8-diaminooctane with acrylonitrile gave N,N'-bis(cyanoethyl)-1,8-diaminooctane, which was reduced to tetraamine 20.
