1,8-Diazafluoren-9-one (DFO) reacts with amino acids to produce a red fluorescent pigment whose fluorescence is enhanced by zinc ions. We report here the structure of the purple zinc complex, [Zn(C22H12N5)(OH)(CH4-N2O)(H2O)] . CH4N2O, formed by this pigment. The ligand binds to zinc via three N atoms, and the other coordination sites in the distorted octahedron are occupied by H2O, OH- and urea. The structure bears many similarities to analogous compounds prepared from ninhydrin.
The present invention includes a new series of heteroleptic iridium complexes that demonstrate high efficiency in OLED device.
这项发明包括一系列新的杂环铱配合物,这些配合物在OLED器件中表现出高效率。

Described herin are molecules for use in organic light emitting diodes. Example molecules comprise at least one acceptor moiety A, at least one donor moiety D, and optionally one or more bridge moieties B. Each moiety A is covalently attached to either the moiety B or the moeity D, each moiety D is covalently attached to either the moeity B or the moeity A, and each B is covalently attached to at least one moiety A and at least one moiety D. Values and preferred values of moieties A, D and B are defined herein.
Novel organic compounds comprising a bicarbazole core are provided. In particular, the compound has a 3;3′-bicarbazole core substituted at the 9
th
position with at least one of dibenzofuran, dibenzothiophene, dibenzoselenophene, azadibenzofuran, azadibenzothiophene and azadibenzoselenophene. The compounds may be used in organic light emitting devices to provide devices having improved efficiency and improved lifetime.
The present invention provides a novel polycyclic aromatic compound having a plurality of aromatic rings linked by a boron atom, a nitrogen atom, and the like, and thus increases the number of alternatives of a material for an organic electroluminescent (EL) device. Furthermore, the present invention provides an excellent organic EL device by using a novel polycyclic aromatic compound as a material for an organic EL device.
The present invention relates to compounds of the formula (1) which are suitable for use in electronic devices, in particular organic electroluminescent devices, and to electronic devices which contain these compounds.
