The synthesis and study of the oral antiallergicactivity of a series of monopyrazole derivatives (2-14) considered as analogues of active bispyrazole 1 are described. None of the compounds showed significant inhibition of the rat passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA), with the exception of the already known 5-aminoindazole (2). The activity of this compound, is however, lower than that of compound 1.

A selective and easy method is described for the synthesis of 4,5-dihydro-2H-benzo[g]indazoles and 8,9-dihydro-2H-benzo[e]indazoles by the Vilsmeier-Haackreaction of various tetralone phenylhydrazones underthermal and microwave irradiation conditions.
