  Compounds of general formulae and wherein X and Y are independently H or F; where R3is CFXY, CON(CH3)2, CH2OCH3, or C1-C3 alkyl; R4 is H or CH3; n is 1 or2; m is 0 or 1; p is 0,1 or 2; R5 and R6 are independantly H, alkyl or optionally substituted phenyl, and exhibit insecticidal activity. They may be formulated for use in conventional manner The compounds (la) can be made by a variety of acylation reactions between oximes or phenols R'OH and the appropriate biscarbamoyl fluoride in the presence of an acid acceptor, compounds (Ib) being obtainable as intermediates in some ofthese reactions.
