Abstract Synthesis of some novel 5-furfuryl pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidines was carried out by the condensation of 2-amino-3-cyano-4-furfuryl-6-substituted pyridine with various arylisothiocy-anates, thiourea and carbondisulphide. These compounds on treatment with ethylbromide using phase transfer catalyst gave 1-ethyl-5-furfuryl pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidines. The structure of the compounds has been established
摘要 通过2-氨基-3-氰基-4-糠基-6-取代的吡啶与各种芳基异硫氰酸酯、硫脲和二硫化碳的缩合反应合成了一些新型5-糠基吡啶并[2,3-d]嘧啶。这些化合物在使用相转移催化剂用乙基溴处理后得到1-乙基-5-糠基吡啶并[2,3-d]嘧啶。化合物的结构已通过元素、红外和核磁共振研究确定。筛选由此合成的化合物的抗微生物活性。
