  4,5‐Dihydro‐2H‐3‐benzothiepin‐1‐on (1a) und sein Sulfon 1b liefern einheitliche Oxime 2a und 2b der E‐Form, aus denen durch Beckmann‐Umlagerung die 4,1‐Benzothiazocinderivate 3a und 3b gebildet werden. Mit sekundären Aminen kondensieren 1a und 1b zu den Enaminen 5a und 5b, mit Malodinitril zu den Dicyanomethylenderivaten 6a und 6b.
