dinuclear iron(III) and ruthenium(III) complexes from dinucleating ligands have been synthesised and characterized. The iron(III) complexes of dinucleating triazene-1-oxide ligands (type 1) catalyse the epoxidation of alkenes with iodosyl benzene as an oxidant.
