  1-Bromotricyclo[4.1.0.02,7]heptane reacted with benzene- and methanesulfonyl thiocyanates in benzene at 20°C via anti addition to the central C1–C7 bicyclobutane bond with formation of 6-endo-bromo-6-exo-thiocyanato-7-syn-(R-sulfonyl)bicyclo[3.1.1]heptanes. Treatment of the benzenesulfonyl thiocyanate adduct with potassium tert-butoxide in THF at 20°C gave 7-endo-(benzenesulfonyl)norpinan-6-one, whereas

  1-溴三环[4.1.0.0 2,7 ]庚烷在20°C下通过与中心C 1 -C 7双环丁烷键抗加成反应而与苯和甲磺酰基硫氰酸酯在苯中反应，并形成6--内-溴-6- exo -硫氰酸根-7-顺-（R-磺酰基）双环[3.1.1]庚烷。用叔丁醇钾在THF中于20°C处理苯磺酰基硫氰酸酯加合物，得到7-内-（苯磺酰基）norpinan-6-，而与1,8-二氮杂双环[5.4.0] undec-7-ene的反应在二氯甲烷中得到7- exo-（苯磺酰基）-降冰片烷6-硫酮，通过碱水解转化为7-外-（苯磺酰基）降冰片烷-1-酮。
