  (EN) This invention relates to methods of x-ray diagnostic imaging the blood pool, liver, spleen and/or lymph system of a mammal comprising administering a contrast effective amount of a contrast agent having structure: (I) wherein: R1 is H or alkyl containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; R2 is H, alkyl containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, aryl or heteroaryl; and R3 is alkyl containing from 1 to 18 carbon atoms. This invention further relates to novel contrast agents having the above structure wherein R1 is H and R2 and R3 are CH3 to x-ray contrast compositions comprising such agents, and to method of x-ray diagnostic imaging utilizing such agents.(FR) Cette invention concerne des procédés d'imagerie radiographique diagnostic du pool sanguin intracardiaque, du foie, de la rate et/ou du système lymphatique chez un mammifère, lesquels procédés consistent à administrer une quantité efficace d'un agent de contraste ayant la structure (I) dans laquelle R1 représente H ou alkyle possédant de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone; R2 représente H, alkyle possédant de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone, aryle ou hétéroaryle, et R3 représente alkyle possédant de 1 à 18 atomes de carbone.
