N-allylhydroxamic acids 3 can be prepared by a novel thermal [3,3]-rearrangement of appropriate precursor O-tetrahydropyranylhydroximates 2. Such compounds are available from the protected hydroximoyl chlorides via alkoxide displacement. The rearrangement can proceed with modest chirality transfer.

Novel hydroxylamine derivatives, uses thereof in anthelmintic methods and compositions, and methods of production thereof are disclosed.The novel compounds are represented by the formula (A):
where: R° is hydrogen atom or a group of R1-CO- where R1 is hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl, a lower alkenyl, phenyl or a substituted phenyl; Ra is a lower alkyl, a lower alkenyl, or a lower alkynyl; and Rb is a lower alkenyl or a lower alkynyl, with a proviso that some of the combinations of Ro, Ra and Rb are excluded. The uses and the methods of production are directed to hydroxylamine derivatives of a broader scope.
