  In the compound bis(2,6-di-tert-butylphenoxy)bis-(dimethylamido)titanium, [Ti(C2H6N)2(C14H21O)2], a distorted tetrahedral geometry is adopted around the Ti metal center by two aryloxide O atoms and two N atoms of the dialkylamido groups. Ti-O(aryloxide) = 1.808 (2), 1.828 (2) angstrom; Ti-N(amido) = 1.892 (3), 1.885 (3) angstrom.
