  不同的芳基金(i)、炔基金(i)和乙烯基金(i)三苯基膦络合物被亲电卤化试剂所卤化。通过 N-氯代琥珀酰亚胺、N-溴代琥珀酰亚胺、N-碘代琥珀酰亚胺以及巴伦加试剂，得到了选择性卤化化合物。以三氟乙酸作为质子源，可以得到干净的原脱氢反应。在使用 N-氟苯磺酰亚胺或 Selectfluor 时，只能观察到均偶合。对于乙烯基金（i）复合物的前体，氯化金（iii）也能诱导类似的氧化偶联。与硅或锡亲电体的反应失败。
