High‐Performance Single‐Crystal‐Based Organic Field‐Effect Transistors from π‐Extended Porphyrin Derivatives

Single‐crystal OFET: Single‐crystals of new porphyrin derivatives TTPH2 and TTPZn were obtained from slow diffusion of solvents (see graphic). The organic field‐effect transistor (OFET) devices based on these single crystals show relatively high mobilities of 6.2×10−2 cm2 V−1 s−1 for TTPH2 and 0.32 cm2 V−1 s−1 for TTPZn with a high on–off current ratio of >104.
