siloxindane 2 has been obtained from the regio‐ and stereoselective addition of silylene LSi (1) (L=CH[(CCH2)CMe][N(Ar)]2, Ar=2,6‐iPr2C6H3) to benzophenone at low temperature, in which the 1,4‐dipolar nature of 1 is proposed to play a key role. At room temperature, silicon‐mediated CHactivation occurs and the initial product 2 rearranges stereoselectively under re‐aromatization to the corresponding siloxindane
