A method for covalent functionalization of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) was developed using the free radicals generated through Bergman cyclization of enediyne‐containing compounds. Four enediyne‐bearing Frechet type dendrimers were synthesized in good quantities and characterized.
