conductivities in liquidammonia suggest that the adduct Et2AlCl,2NH3 has the structure [Et2Al(NH3)2]+Cl–. Triethylaluminium forms a liquidadduct Et3Al,2NH3 and gives a solution of low conductivity in liquidammonia. Aniline complexes of ethylaluminium chlorides lose ethane on heating, with the formation of the derivatives (R2AlNHPh)2 and (RAlNPh)4(R = Et or Cl), and diphenylamine complexes give derivatives
