Abstract Cu II complexes with Schiff base ligands as a mono- ( L 2 ) and bis- ( L 1 ) -condensation products of 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde- N -oxide with diethylenetriamine with perchlorate and chloride counter anions were prepared.
