A color photographic silver halide light-sensitive material is described. The material is characterized by containing a development inhibitor-releasing coupler capable of releasing an inhibitor having a degree of diffusion ranging between 0.4 and 0.95 on reacting with an oxidation product of a developing agent during development. This light-sensitive material provides images which are greatly improved in sharpness without causing other problems.
