    The present invention provides coating compositions for marking substrates, which comprise a colour former in an amount of from 0.01 to 50%, a metal salt of a carboxylic acid in an amount of from 0.01 to 50%, a binder in an amount of from 1 to 80% and an organic solvent in an amount of from 1 to 99%, wherein each amount is by weight based on the weight of the composition. The present invention also provides a process for the preparation of the composition of the present invention, substrates coated with these compositions and a process for preparing a marked substrate using these compositions.

    This invention relates to certain sugar esters of phytosterols of formula (I). These esters are useful for topical application, and for the treatment of skin condition, including age spots, acne, loss of cellular antioxidants, collagen loss, loss of skin pliability, loss of skin suppleness, skin wrinkles including fine lines, oxidation, damage from radiation, malfunction of matrix metalloproteases, malfunction of tyrosinases, damage from free radicals, damage from UV, dry skin, xerosis, ichthyosis, dandruff, brownish spots, keratoses, melasma, lentigines, liver spots, pigmented spots, dark circles under the eyes, skin pigmentation including darkened skin, blemishes, oily skin, warts, eczema, pruritic skin, psoriasis, inflammatory dermatoses, topical inflammation, disturbed keratinization, skin changes associated with aging, nail or skin requiring cleansers, conditioning or treatment, and hair or scalp requiring shampooing or conditioning, and combinations thereof; Wherein, n=0, 1, 2, or 3; and R=H, —CH 2 OH, —CH(OH)—CH 2 OH, —CH(OH)—CH(OH)—CH 2 OH; and R 1 =Substituent selected from a sapogenin, steroid, or terpenoid.

    An additive composition comprises a wax and a nucleating agent. The nucleating agent can be dispersed in the wax. A process for producing a nucleated polymer comprises the steps of (a) providing a reactor; (b) providing an additive composition comprising a wax and a nucleating agent; (c) providing an extruder; (d) reacting in the reactor a reactant mixture comprising an olefin monomer and hydrogen to produce a polyolefin polymer; (e) collecting and recovering the polyolefin polymer produced by the reaction; (f) conveying the polyolefin polymer to the extruder; (g) conveying the additive composition to the extruder; and (g) extruding the polyolefin polymer and the additive composition to produce a nucleated polymer composition.
