  研究了溶液和固态下不对称取代的N-苄基-N-异丙基-α，β-不饱和硫酰胺的光化学反应。由于C（S）–N键的旋转，所有硫酰胺都在两个旋转异构体之间处于平衡状态。通过与温度相关的1 H NMR光谱估计键旋转的活化自由能。活化的自由能在18.4–19.5 kcal mol –1的范围内。在苯溶液中进行辐照后，烯基碳从苄基和异丙基上均吸出氢，分别生成β-硫内酰胺和1,3,5-二噻嗪烷产物。在固态光解中仅从异丙基中提取氢，得到异构体β-硫代内酰胺产物。
