  A series of alkynylgold(I) bis(diphenylphosphino)alkyl- and aryl-amine complexes, [{Ph2PN(R)PPh2)Au-2(C CR')(2)] [R = "Pr, R' = Ph (1), C6H4OMe-p (2), C6H4Me-p (3), C6H4Cl-P (4); R = C6H4OMe-p, R' = Ph (5)], has been synthesized. The X-ray crystal structures of I and 2 revealed the presence of short intramolecular Au (...) Au contacts with the distances of 2.8404(8) and 3.0708(7) angstrom.
