Abstract The current study was carried out in an attempt to synthesize a new class of 1,2,3-triazole-linked hybrids by Cu(I)-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) in good yields (80–90%). Insecticidal activity of the produced 5-[(3H-1,2,3-triazol-4-ylthio)methyl]-4-(benzylideneamino)-4H-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiols was tested.
