  A method for the synthesis of pinacol boronic esters bearing a fluorinated group at the a-carbon atom (R(f)CH(2)Bpin) from corresponding bromomethyl borane (BrCH(2)Bpin) and fluorinated silanes (RfSiMe3) is described.
