A procedure for one-pot preparation of beta-trimethylsilyloxy thioesters from epoxides, thioacids, and hexamethyl disilazane (HMDS) in the presence of silica gel under solvent-free condition was developed. The desired silylated products were isolated in good to excellent yields after silica-gel column chromatography.Supplemental materials are available for this article.
