  The title compound, [Mn(NCS)(2) (C18H12N6)(2) (CH4O)(2)], contains a centrosymmetric octahedral Mn-II centre and three pairs of trans-coordinating ligands. It is the first example of a mononuclear metal complex with the 2,4,6-tri(4-pyridyl)-1,3,5-triazine (tpt) ligand. Intermolecular pi-pi stacking of the planar tpt ligands, as well as hydrogen bonds between pyridyl N and methanol H atoms, results in the formation of a three-dimensional network.
