The kinetics of methane reductive eliminationfrom both isomers of the methyl(hydrido)platinum(IV) complex [Pt(H)(CH3)2(BPMA)]+ (BPMA = bis(pyridylmethyl)amine) were studied by 1H NMR spectroscopy.
