A dual-statefluorophore 2-(2-(6-(dimethylamino)benzo[d]oxazol-2-yl)vinyl)quinolin-8-olfamily () has been synthesized with 2-trimethylbenzoxazol-6-amine and 8-hydroxyquinoline-2-carbaldehyde in one-pot reaction. exhibits orange to red fluorescence in polar solvents. X-Ray single crystal demonstrates that the molecules of adopt a stacking mode of -aggregation in crystals, resulting in a deep red emission

Solidfluorescence plays an important role in optoelectronic devices. In this paper, 9,10-bis(6-dimethylamino benzoxazole styryl)-anthracene (1) was synthesized. 1 displayed a strong emission in solidstate (microcrystalline state, amorphous solidstate and polymeric thin film) resulted from aggregation-induced emission mechanism, and a large absolute fluorescence quantum yield (ϕf = 0.65) was obtained
