  The structure of the title compound, [Cu-2(CH3COO)(2-)(C16H16N4O2)], was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and revealed binuclear complex molecules which lie about. inversion centers. The Cu-II atom has square-pyramidal coordination, with an additional nonbonded Cu ... O contact of 2.818 (4) Angstrom , which helps the maintenance of the crystal packing.
