  A series of 4- aminobenzamides of some simple primary and secondary amines were prepared and evaluated for anticonvulsant effects. The compounds were tested in mice against seizures induced by electroshock and pentylenetetrazole ( metrazole ) and in the rotorod assay for neurologic deficit.
