    Color responses of novel receptors for AcO− and a test paper for AcO− in pure aqueous solution
    摘要:
    An efficient AcO- sensor L which contains 1,10-phenanthroline-based and nitrophenylhydrazine-based groups, and its water-soluble Ru(II) complex were synthesized, characterized and studied in this Letter. Via UV-vis experiments and H-1 NMR titration in DMSO solution, it was found that there were potential hydrogen bonds between the N=CH and AcO- after the deprotanation of two-NH during the reaction of L or its Ru complex with anions. Furthermore, an easy-to-prepare test paper was developed to detect AcO- at 10 mg/L in pure aqueous solution. (C) 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

    The present invention relates to a new process for the preparation of an arylborane compound, by arylation of a B-H bond, which comprises a step (1) of contacting an arenediazonium salt or a heteroarenediazonium salt with an organoboron compound containing at least one B-H bond, in a reaction medium containing a solvent, in the absence of base, in the absence or in the presence of an activating agent, for the preparation of an arylborane compound, and a possible step (2) of recovery and purification of said arylborane compound obtained at the step (1), said arylborane being in particular an aminoarylborane, and a possible step (3) of refunctionalisation of said arylborane obtained at step (1) or (2) for the preparation of aryl boronic derivatives or arylborates.

    A novel coordination complex formed by dinuclear metal complexation is provided. The complex is a dinuclear metal complex of a compound, wherein the compound comprises a conjugation ring system substituted with: a) an electron donating group selected from —OH, —SH and —NH 2 ; b) an indicating group selected from a chromogenic group, a fluorescent group and an electrochemical group; and c) two binding auxiliary groups, in combination with the electron donating group each of which being coordinated with the metal to provide an anion bonding site, wherein as the complex binds to a anion, the coordination of the electron donating group with the metal is weakened and electron donation of the electron donating group to the conjugation ring system is reinforced such that the reinforced electron donation by the electron donating group is transferred through the conjugation ring system to the indicating group to produce an indicating signal concomitant with the change of its electronic density. The coordination complex shows high sensitivity and high selectivity for pyrophosphate over other anions in an aqueous solvent over a wide pH range. Therefore, the complex is useful for pyrophosphate assay as a pyrophosphate sensor.

  • Colorimetric detection of cyanide with a chromogenic oxazine

    A chromogenic oxazine compound for the colorimetric detection of cyanide was designed. Indeed, the [1,3]oxazine ring of our compound opens to form a phenolate chromophore in response to cyanide. The heterocyclic com-pound may be comprised of fused benzooxazine and indoline rings: wherein R 1 is an alkyl (e.g., methyl, ethyl, propyl, isopropyl, butyl, isobutyl), a substituted alkyl, a cycloalkyl (e.g., cyclopentyl, cyclohexyl), a substituted cycloalkyl, an aryl (e.g., phenyl), or a substituted aryl and R 2 is a chromophore (e.g., nitroso, nitro, azo dyes). This quantitative chromogenic transformation permits the detection of micromolar concentrations of cyanide in water. Furthermore, our chromogenic oxazine is insensitive to the presence of large concentrations of fluoride, chloride, bromide or iodide anions, which are generally the principal interferents in the colorimetric detection of cyanide.
