  通过选择不同的膦配体，进行了镍催化的选择性烷基化反应和用烷基格氏试剂还原烯丙基醇。使用Ni（dppe）Cl 2作为催化剂的反应导致烯丙基醇与伯烷基格氏试剂和环丙基溴化镁的交叉偶联。Ni（PCy 3）2 Cl 2和dcype的组合催化的反应导致烯丙基醇的还原。除环丙基溴化镁外，仲烷基格氏试剂总是使用Ni（dppe）Cl 2或Ni（PCy 3）2 Cl 2导致烯丙基醇的还原/ dcype作为催化剂。在还原反应中，需要含β-H的烷基格氏试剂。
