Metalhomoenolates are valuable synthetic intermediates which provide access to β-functionalized ketones. In this report, we disclose a Ni-catalyzed β-alkylation reaction of cyclopropanol-derived homoenolates using redox-active N-hydroxyphthalimide (NHPI) esters as the alkylating reagents.
