  (EN) The present invention provides a biological solution for controlling weeds of the family $i(Chenopodiaceae) in crops, but especially for the annual herbaceous weed $i(Chenopodium album). In particular, the invention relates to a method of selectively controlling the weed $i(Chenopodium album) in crops, which comprises applying a herbicidally effective amount of the fungal pathogen $i(Ascochyta caulina) to the said weed plants, the seeds or seedlings thereof or the crop area. The invention further relates to strains of $i(Ascochyta caulina) that can be suitably used within the context of the present invention as mycoherbicides for controlling $i(Chenopodium album) in crops and to compositions comprising the same.(FR) L'invention porte sur une solution biologique permettant d'éliminer les mauvaises herbes de la famille des $i(Chenopodiaceae) dans les cultures et spécialement l'herbacée annuelle $i(Chenopodiaceae album).
