  o-bromoacetanilide reacted with tributyltin hydride in the presence of activated olefin compounds to give 2, 3-dihydrobenzofuran and 2, 3-dihydroindole derivatives in modest yields via both intramolecular and intermolecular radical carbon-carbon bond formations.
