The present invention provides compositions comprising herbicidally active compounds (A) and (B), where (A) represents one or more compounds of the general formula (I) or agrochemically compatible salts thereof [component (A)],
and (B) represents one or more herbicides [component (B)]. The application further relates to a method and to the use of the herbicidal composition according to the invention for controlling harmful plants or for regulating growth.
New capsule preparations for the treatment of plants, which preparations are composed of
A) a capsule shell comprising
water-soluble polyoxyethylene having an average molecular weight of 100,000 or more,
at least one plasticizer and
optionally, one or more additives,
and
B) a filling comprising
at least one biologically active compound and
optionally, one or more auxiliaries,
and the use of such capsule preparations for administering biologically active compounds to plants, such as trees and shrubs.

A granular agrochemical composition is disclosed including a granular core material having a water soluble portion with a first coating layer applied on the surface of the core material and a second coating layer applied on the surface of the first coating layer. The first coating layer includes a wax composition having a biologically active ingredient incorporated therein and the second coating layer includes a polymeric composition.; The granular agrochemical composition exhibits a controlled rate of release of the biologically active ingredient therefrom over a period greater than about 30 days from the date of initial exposure of the granular composition to moisture whereby essentially all of the biologically active ingredient incorporated in the wax material of the first coating layer is released from the granular composition before the water soluble portion of the granular core material is released from the granular composition.

Provided herein are safened herbicidal compositions for use in Brassica species susceptible to injury by 4-amino-3-chloro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl)-5-fluoropyridine-2-carboxylic acid comprising (a) a herbicidally effective amount of 4-amino-3-chloro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl)-5-fluoropyridine-2-carboxylic acid or an agriculturally acceptable salt or ester of thereof, and (b) a safener. The safener can be a herbicide or a herbicide safener capable of safening the Brassica species susceptible to injury by 4-amino-3-chloro-6-(4-chloro-2-fluoro-3-methoxyphenyl)-5-fluoropyridine-2-carboxylic acid.

A controlled release product is provided having a suppressed initial release period and a predetermined longevity. The product includes a particulate water soluble core material and a semi-permeable coating layer applied on the core material for controlling the release rate of the core material. The semi-permeable coating layer is formulated in accordance with the following equation to provide a release rate wherein initial release of core material from the product is suppressed so that less than about 15 weight percent of core material is released from the product within a 24 hour period after application of the product and wherein longevity of release, at ambient temperature, between the time of application and the time at which at least about 75 weight percent of the core material is released from the product is 60 days or less:
