Synthesis and Characterization of a Novel Lead Complexes with Isophthalyl Bishydrazones
摘要:
Lead acetate reacts with 2-pyridinecarboxadehyde isophthalyl-hydrazone (H(2)pcph) giving a dinucleic [Pb-2(pcph) Ac-2] complex. As shown by X-ray crystal analysis, each lead ion is coordinated by one hydrazide nitrogen, one pyridine nitrogen, one carbonyl oxygen, and one acetate oxygen, giving rise to a unusually N2O2 distorted planar square coordination geometry.
Metallohelical triangles consisting of chromophore units and hydrogen-bonding trigger sites were prepared by modulating two tridentate N2O units containing amide groups within a central benzene ring at the meta sites, for the selective detection of adenosine trisphosphate in aqueous media over other ribonucleotides.
