We report on the formation of a Cu3S3 heterocycle from the reaction of copper(II) bromide and the ligand [NH((Pr2PS)-Pr-i)(2)] bis(diisopropyldithiophosphino)amine. The single crystal X-ray structure and other spectroscopic details are presented. The molecule exists as a six membered ring which displays a single peak in its solution P-31 NMR though different phosphorus environments are evident in the solid state.
