A competent relay Fe(III)-/In(III)-catalyzed decarboxylative cyclization of amino acids has been devised towards the exclusive preparation of 2,4-diarylpyridines. The efficacy of the developed conditions drives the reaction towards selective formation of 2,4-diarylpyridines over other pyridine derivatives. The described protocol showed good functional group tolerance with moderate to good yields of
